Description: The Therapeutic Fitness Program is designed for adults who are at risk for developing heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, cancer, or who are currently undergoing some level of treatment for these disorders. This program combines exercice with specific lifestyle recommendations, and how to integrate these changes into daily life. Our staff includes a nurse, a registered dietician and five highly qualified personal trainers to provide safe, graduated, individualized therapeutic exercises. Each new participant undergoes a comprehensive exercise-readiness assessment, health history and screening before starting. A customized program is developed and administered in a closely supervised environment. Participant improvement is monitored and programs are modified according to individual progress.
