The Reinitz Wrestling Centre

The YM-YWHA’s wrestling program, home to the best amateur wrestling team in Canada and located in the Reinitz Wresting Centre at the Ben Weider JCC, is known for producing Provincial, National, Olympic and World Medalists and Champions.

National team coach and former Soviet Union Champion Victor Zilberman and his coaching staff are committed to offering the absolute best instruction and guidance possible to anyone who is interested in the sport of amateur wrestling. Women’s wrestling is a big part of the program as well. Old-timers are welcome back to the mats. Newcomers are always welcome, regardless of their level of wrestling. Come learn from the best, Gia Siasourri, World Champion and Olympic Silver medalist, and Pan Am medalists Misha Jepardize, Carl Rainvillle and David Zilberman.

The Wrestling Foundation was established to develop the sport of wrestling in the Jewish community and to provide an outstanding program where individuals can aspire to greatness, compete on the international level, learn self-discipline and commitment and develop outstanding life skills.
