| Bronze Cross | Bronze Cross is designed for lifesavers (age 14 + by end of course), providing more advanced training and an introduction to safe supervision in aquatic facilities. Learn the difference between lifesaving and lifeguarding, the principles of emergency procedures, teamwork and use of special equipment. | Harry & Nina Hart Computer Drop-In Centre | The Nina and Harry Hart Computer Centre is a hub of activity six days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday. Free of charge and open to all. Funded by community and private partners, the computer centre caters to a wide range of individuals, from teens during afternoon ‘drop-in’ hours and Sunday tutoring, to members of the special needs community, seniors, and the kids in the Y day camps, pre-school and daycare. On Tuesday there is a chess club and on Thursday night, there are volunteers waiting to offer technical support to find solutions to your computer problems.
