The 2012 Y Cycle for Special Needs

Dear Cyclists,
We are excited to announce, the 12th annual Y Cycle for Special Needs will be taking place on Sunday, September 23rd, 2012 at the Hillsdale Golf and Country Club in Mirabel. Over the years our event has supported various Special Needs programs at the YM/YWHA and thanks to you, our participants and corporate sponsors, we’ve built up an endowment fund in excess of one $1.1 million dollars. When you see the Special Needs programs in action it warms your heart and reminds us how important it is to continue supporting this very important cause. There are so many Special Needs participants that call the Y their home; they socialize here with friends, participate in physical activity and are involved in both physical and intellectual workshops.
Due to the success of the Special Needs program at the Y, demand for these programs grows every year and so do their costs. This is why we need to continue to raise the bar on our fundraising goals.
We look forward to seeing you again this year, on September 23rd, to help support the Special Needs programs.
