The 2012 Y Cycle for Special Needs
Dear Cyclists,
We are excited to announce, the 11th annual Y Cycle for Special Needs taking place on Sunday, September 18th, 2011 at Hillsdale Golf and Country Club in Mirabel.
Over the last 11 years our event has supported various Special Needs programs through the YM/YWHA and thanks to you, our participants and corporate sponsors, we’ve built up an endowment fund in excess of one million dollars.
When you see the Special Needs programs in action it warms your heart and reminds us how important it is to continue supporting this very important cause. There are so many Special Needs participants that call the Y their home; they socialize here with friends, participate in physical activity and are involved in both physical and intellectual workshops.
Due to the success of the Special Needs program at the Y, demand for these programs grows every year but so do their costs which is why we need to continue to raise our fundraising goals.
We look forward to seeing you again this year, on September 18th, to help support the Special Needs programs. Whatever cycling ability you have, we have a route for you!
