Here adults have an opportunity to contribute toward the planning and organizing of their activities. Group members can go to movies, plays and community events, engage in discussions of recent political and local events and prepare for and celebrate holidays and festivals.

Long Description: The Marlene and Joel King Special Needs Department is a co-operative effort by the YM-YWHA and the Miriam Home to develop and deliver leisure and recreational services to children, youth and adults with special needs and to include them in life at the "Y". Participants registered in special needs groups are charged a membership fee of $45. Youth programs are affiliated with the Bronfman Jewish Education Council of Greater Montreal.
