Description: New program available to groups and/or individuals with special needs who wish to participate in and explore leisure activities available in the community such as walking tours, museum visits, concerts, exhibitions and community events. Participants will learn to plan their own leisure time and will have the opportunity to learn about community resources and recreation programs and services available in Montreal. Long Description: The Marlene and Joel King Special Needs Department is a co-operative effort by the YM-YWHA and the Miriam Home to develop and deliver leisure and recreational services to children, youth and adults with special needs and to include them in life at the "Y". Participants registered in special needs groups are charged a membership fee of $45. Youth programs are affiliated with the Bronfman Jewish Education Council of Greater Montreal.
