Y CYCLE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS
September 17, 2017
Now in its 16th year, this event has raised over $1.4 million to endow a trust fund in support of the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA special needs program. The event encompasses a 50 km or 100 km scenic bike route starting from the Hillsdale Golf and Country Club. First time riders and riders under 30 years of age need to raise a minimum of $500 in sponsorships; returning cyclists a minimum of $750, but the sky’s the limit! Hone your competitive edge both on the road and with sponsorships. You’ll leave with a sense of physical accomplishment and deep pride knowing you’ve helped those with special needs become the best they can be.
Proceeds are used to support the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA Special Needs department, which provides children, adolescents and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities to participate in programs that take place at the Y.
