Maccabi Montreal is going to the JCC Maccabi Games!

The JCC Maccabi Games offers Olympic-style sports competitions, including opening and closing ceremonies; travel; community service; social and cultural events; and opportunities to make friends and memories to last a lifetime. Did you know that in 2002 the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA hosted the JCC Maccabi games? Now that we are once again participating in this Olympic-style event, our hope is that the Montreal Delegation continues to grow and that we may even once again host the games in Montreal.

2024 MACCABI GAMES 

Detroit – July 28-August 2, 2024

• Ages 12-16
• Sports: 14U girls basketball, dance, ice hockey, 14U girls volleyball, 14U girls soccer, table tennis, tennis, swimming, golf, star reporter (sports subject to change)
• Highlights include:
  • Olympic-style sports competition
  • Opening and closing ceremonies
  • JCC Cares community service projects
  • HangTime programming with Israeli shlichim
  • Evening social events

Houston – August 4-9, 2024

• Ages 12-16
• Sports: baseball, basketball, bowling, dance, girls volleyball, flag football, soccer, table tennis, tennis, swimming, star reporter (sports subject to change)
• Highlights include:
  • Olympic-style sports competition
  • Opening and closing ceremonies
  • JCC Cares community service projects
  • HangTime programming with Israeli shlichim
  • Evening social events

*To participate in the Games, athletes must be at least 12 years old and CANNOT have turned 17 years old as of July 31, 2024.

14U – Athlete must be at least 12 and cannot turn 15 as of July 31, 2024.

16U – Athlete must be at least 15 and cannot turn 17 as of July 31, 2024.
